LumiBrite

LumiBrite only sells the whitening gel, and does not put together a full kit for your first teeth whitening sessions. LumiBrite teeth whitening gel comes in two different concentrations, one 22% and another at 32% carbamide peroxide. To use LumiBrite, you will need to acquire a mouthpiece or application trays which can be bought of your local pharmacy or get custom made ones from your dentist. To use, all you need to do is apply some of the LumiBrite whitening gel at the front bottom part of the application tray and place one tray on your top teeth and another on your bottom. You are instructed to wear the trays for only 3 minutes at a time, once a day for a total of 2 weeks. It seems like a very long time to wait for white teeth, but they do promise a drastic change. In 2 weeks they promise your teeth to be 9 shades whiter.

Consumer Report

Opinions on this product seem to be equally divided. Some people claim their teeth were 10 shades lighter, while others complained about a mere 2 shade change. Those that enjoyed the product said that they experienced very minor discomfort or swelling of the gums. But a few said that they experienced short, sharp shooting pain in their gums an hour after their first application. LumiBrite appears to be a good product, unless you have very sensitive teeth or looking for drastic results. LumiBrite is better for those who are looking for a minor touch up.
